In light of the recent catastrophic earthquake in Haiti the editors of Pasadena Now are reprinting an article entitled “A Katrina of our Very Own” originally published in July, 2006. At the time we were reeling from the horror of Katrina, but now the harsh realities of Haiti are close to our thoughts.
