April 16, 2014 marks the 9th annual Grandparents Day for La Salle High School. Over 245 grandparents were in attendance with 35 parent volunteers serving the event.
Student members of the visual and performing arts department – music, videos, songs and dance, entertained grandparents. The morning closed with the varsity cheer squad teaching the grandparents the Lancer cheer.
Following the performances, the grandparents enjoyed a delicious lunch with their grandchildren catered by City Café in Azusa. Grandparents Day Chair was Lynell Messineo P’14 and Co-Chairs were Stephanie La Porte P’15 and Jennifer Gregory P’17.
