Over 150 Guests Attend 8th Annual Pasadena Grand Pinot Fest

Annual event featured fifty wineries pouring pinots, chardonnays, syrahs and scrumptious fare by Estate Catering at The Huntington and live music by saxophonist Michael Lington

The clouds parted and the sun shone on the Annual Pasadena Grand Pinot Fest, with 150 guests in attendance at a beautiful, private estate home in South Pasadena to raise money for local charities Five Acres, Hathaway-Sycamores and Professional Child Development Associates.

Surrounded by the scenic San Gabriel Mountains, the South Pasadena estate was transformed into an elegant, outdoor setting and a memorable afternoon featuring fine wines and fine dining. Guests tasted 100 pinot noirs from 50 leading wineries in California and Oregon, including, Alma Rosa; Arcadian; Ampelos; Brewer-Clifton; Carr; Clos Pepe; D’Alfonso-Curran; Dutton-Goldfield;Williams-Selyem; and many more.

VIP guests enjoyed delectable crispy crab cakes and mouth-watering beef tenderloin burgers and treated to a special celebrity sommelier wine tasting; gorgeous floral arrangements and centerpieces were donated by Margit Holakoui Florist.

Sponsors included Morgan Stanley (Thomas Murray and Andrea Vining from the Lake Ave Pasadena office) and CPA firm, Adams, Hawekotte & Hudson.
