Westridge School celebrated 25 years of bringing families together to explore a wide variety of summer programs at their Summer Opportunities Fair 2016. And as usual, the crowd turnout was stellar.

Parents and student alike came from all over the Southern California basin to enjoy the day on the Westridge campus and Summer School and camp representatives came vendors come from all over the United States to present their opportunities at the Fair. The day can be quite overwhelming!

This year, more than 100 exhibitors of K-12 summer programs set up shop so that the general public could discover first hand, the many varied programs not only in our own backyard, but in the greater Los Angeles area, across the nation and even across the oceans.

The summer offerings included outdoor adventure, fine and performing arts, academics, travel, community service opportunities for teens, and options for children with special needs. But most importantly, there were programs available to fit every budget.

Here in Southern California, it always seems like summer and the Westridge Summer Opportunities Fair just gives us all a head start in planning for it. Pass the suntan lotion please!
