A Look Into Poly’s Middle School Arts

Sixth grade students started their second arts rotation this week. Here’s a look at what the demonstrations from the first rotation in band and movement looked like:

Students in band learned to get a characteristic tone on their instruments, learned a few notes, and some simple songs.

The movement class created opportunities for both dance and student choreography. Sixth-graders had a performance to showcase the students’ hard work last week – please enjoy a few more moments of this year’s Halloween.

All sixth-graders will have the opportunity to participate in each of the art blocks throughout the year.
