A Summer of Fun Awaits at Mayfield Junior School

Summer at Mayfield Junior School has something for every child, age 3-14! Now a full nine weeks, Mayfield’s Summer Program offers an exciting array of camps and classes brimming with opportunities to learn, grow, and have fun. Explore a new sport, delve into science, improve math skills, or learn to dance – with over 100 classes and camps to choose from, Mayfield Junior School is a great place for your child to be challenged and engaged this summer in a safe and welcoming environment.

For over 80 years, Mayfield Junior School has been educating children with a commitment to encouraging individual potential and providing a balance of challenging academics with the arts, athletics, and community service. Each year, MJS opens its beautiful campus to boys and girls ages 3-14 from all schools in the Pasadena area and surrounding communities for the Summer Program.

“This year our program has been redesigned to accommodate the needs of busy families,” explains Pamela Stiles, Director of Extended Programs. “MJS will be open nine weeks this summer, Monday-Friday (June 17- August 16). We offer flexible scheduling options for families: choose from two sessions of 3-week, one-period classes and/or a variety of full and half day, 1-week camps. We also have extended care available, free for registered students every morning starting at 7:30AM and only $3.50 per half hour from 3-6PM.”

Mayfield is offering an Early Bird Discount of $25 off each camp and class registration received by March 31. “This year we focused not only on making our Summer Program more flexible but also more affordable for families,” Pamela said. “We are encouraging early registration. The discount is a great deal and registering early helps secure a first choice spot in our camps or classes.”

With a list of camps that includes PlanetBravo’s Techno-tainment, Prime Time Sports Camp, Musketeers Fencing Camp, Animal Invasion: Indoor Safari Camp, and Superhero Engineering with LEGO, and classes such as Summertime Preschool Fun!, Math Attack: Math Skills, Jedi Training Bootcamp, Iron Chef: Cooking Fun, and Project Runway: Fashion Design, this is guaranteed to be a Summer of fun at Mayfield Junior School!
