At Alverno, National Honor Society students participate in various service projects including tutoring students, bell ringing for the Salvation Army at Christmas, and other projects that benefit both Alverno and the local community. Additionally, members of National Honor Society are active members in Alverno student government, campus organizations, athletic teams, and the visual and performing arts while maintaining impressive academic records. In fact, the average GPA of members of the National Honor Society at Alverno High School is 4.25.

New members to the National Honor Society include sophomore Laura Chen; juniors Alexis Baro, Jillian Kislow, Alicia Lindheimer and Moondera Rabb; and seniors Clara Avila, Natalie Hernandez-Barber, Maria Luchetta, Danielle Ramirez, Jenny Sun, Sabrina Torres, and Emily Yekikian.

These young women join juniors Marisa Dragos and Asia Leong as well as seniors Amy Aghajanian, Caitlyn Delgadillo, Isabel Diaz, Emily Lopez, Ciara Madigan, Cameron Martinez, Alexxa Vasquez, and Alexis Winstanley as members of the National Honor Society at Alverno.

Through Alverno’s mission of empowering each young woman to be exactly the person she wants to be, these 22 young women have grown into women of scholarship, service, leadership and character.”
