Assumption School Participates in Operation Rice Bowl



During Lent, all students at Assumption School will participate in Operation Rice Bowl, a project of Catholic Relief Services (CRS). It is a program that connects Lenten prayer, fasting, and almsgiving with the Church’s mission to serve those in need. Each class will study about people in countries identified by CRS as needing our assistance: Kenya, Guatemala, the Philippines, and Malawi.

Students will be invited to fill their individual “rice bowls” with donations that will be forwarded to CRS for distribution to those in need. For information, please click on:
