Clairbourn School: Arachnid Studies
Clairbourn’s preschool Grasshopper Class invited an expert from the company Education Through Nature to come teach them about spiders. Their representative, Sean, brought an amazing collection of live spiders including tarantulas, Golden Orb spiders, and even scorpions!
Students watched the spiders play with one another in their enclosures, observed friendly spiders up close, and watched the expert handle many spiders that could be taken out of their enclosures!
The students had already been learning a lot about spiders so they were ready to answer questions from the expert who was impressed with the knowledge they had already gained.
