Fun, Food and Flicks to Raise Money for Don Bosco’s Newly Formed International Students Club

There will be Fun, Food and Flicks this Friday, May 31st to raise money for the newly formed Union of International Students at Don Bosco Technical Institute. Come and enjoy Gnomeo and Juliet, the animated version of Shakespeare’s most noted romantic work. Prior to the feature, Pixar clips and episodes of The Big Bang Theory will be shown.

The Montagues and Capulets live next door to each other but they aren’t the ones who are feuding – this time it is their garden gnomes that come out at night to settle the score. Despite the conflict, Gnomeo and Juliet fall in love with each other. Enjoy the lively soundtrack written and performed by Elton John and Lady Gaga; the voices of James McAvoy and Emily Blunt as star-crossed lovers Gnomeo and Juliet, as well as Ozzy Osborn, Hulk Hogan, Dolly Parton, Patrick Stewart, Dame Maggie Smith and Michael Caine.

The doors open at 6:30 p.m. and a donation of $3.00 will be accepted at the door. Don Bosco is located at 1151 San Gabriel Blvd. in Rosemead. Enter through the south campus gate off of Arroyo Drive. For more information contact Stephen Lipira at (626) 940-2024 or email slipira@boscotech.edu
