La Salle High School Alumni: Night at the Theatre

The La Salle High School Alumni Association invites everyone to a special complimentary performance of La Salle High School’s Performing Arts Department’s production of “Metamorphoses,” by Mary Zimmerman, on Saturday, November 9, 7:00 p.m. at Porticos Art Space (2033 E. Washington Blvd., Pasadena).

Adapted from the classic Ovid poem, Metamorphoses. Based on the classical mythology by Ovid and notably set in a pool of water (a nod to the ancient maritime cultures), the play earned her a 2002 Tony Award and a claim as one of the theater world’s leading directors. The play premiered in 1996 as Six Myths at Northwestern University and later the Lookingglass Theatre Company in Chicago. The play opened off-Broadway in October 2001 at the Second Stage Theatre. It transferred to Broadway on February 21, 2002 at the Circle in the Square Theatre. That year it won several Tony Awards.

Complimentary Alumni Tickets are limited to 2 per alumni. Contact Kristen Schultz ’98 in the Alumni Office to reserve tickets at (626) 696-4362 or email alumni@lasallehs.org.
