Leadership Retreat for Students

Alverno High School is kicking the new school year off with a Leadership Retreat for all student government leaders, where points of discussion will include the upcoming school year and the student’s plans, all while having fun doing it.

The Leadership Retreat will be held on Friday, August 23 at Alverno High School, 200 North Michilinda Avenue, Sierra Madre. Check-in will start at 9:00 am and the retreat will last until 2:00 pm.

Breakfast and snacks will be provided, and special leadership t-shirts will be given to each participant.

Participants are urged to bring a refillable water bottle and wear comfortable clothing that are compliant with Alverno’s Free Dress guidelines: shirts must cover shoulders and midriff, and shorts must be at least 1-inch below the fingertips.

Alverno High School is a Catholic, private, college preparatory school for young women dedicated to preparing them to function in a society as informed, knowledgeable persons, who have the requisite skills to make and implement mature decisions about complex problems.
