Maranatha Celebrates Senior Girls with Annual Tea

On Friday, May 9, Maranatha High School celebrated their graduating senior girls with their annual beloved tradition of the Senior Ladies Tea. Senior moms lovingly prepared a beautiful tea spread for all the senior girls and female staff.

The students came dressed in festive tea attire. After mingling, faculty Mrs. Mallott, Mrs. Barrantes, and Mrs. Johansen opened the sharing time with special words of wisdom and encouragement for the ladies as they start the next phase of life.

The mic was then opened to students for what turned out to be two hours of sharing. The class reflected on their ties, their time at MHS, and the love they have for each other. Faculty eventually had to end the time of sharing because the rental company was scheduled to pick up their items. Clearly, the students of Maranatha have come to love this cherished tradition.
