Maranatha High School students recently performed a series of one-act plays called All In The Timing at the Fremont Centre Theatre in South Pasadena. “Smart is funny,” says MHS Theater Director Tiffany LaBarbera-Palmer. “Pulled from a series of plays by David Ives called ‘All in the Timing’ and ‘Time Flies’, these one-acts are divinely suited for the very smart, very funny actors.” In fact, the school’s young actors had to become quite familiar with Faulkner, Swift, Trotsky, Freud, Absurdism, and Existentialism in their quest to pull off their punch lines perfectly.
