Maranatha High School’s 17th Annual Golf Tournament

The Maranatha High School Booster Club held their 17th Annual Golf Tournament recently at Brookside Golf Club on an ideal sunny California day. Booster board members Scott Chamberlain and Tom Skidmore co-chaired the tournament this year. Before getting out on the course, participants enjoyed a barbeque lunch right next to the green, as well as a putting contest and driving practice.

At noon, the golfers hit the course and enjoyed many course contests, as well as the ability to pay MHS Golf Team members to drive for them. After the tournament, golfers and other friends enjoyed an awards reception and auction with items like a corporate suite at Dodger Stadium, Disneyland passes, and an in-home dinner party complete with private chef. Proceeds from the auction and golf tournament benefit Maranatha’s athletic programs.
