Mayfield Junior School: More than Dates, Places and Events

Mayfield Junior School Sixth grade history students put the final touches on their “Every Earthquake Has a Story” project last week. With an emphasis on the value of human experience in studying history, the project involved interviewing a family member or friend who had lived through a major earthquake, and telling their first hand account within an interactive exhibit. Students linked e-newsletters they created to QR codes and posted the codes on a map for visitors to scan and read.
