McKinley School Renovation Project Update

Mckinley School work is underway now as part of Phase 1, which is an $18 million dollar project. This includes a new Gymnasium, new Central Plant, new Kitchen and Lunch Shelter, 5 new classrooms, a new playground for the Kindergartners, and a new play-field and playground for the first through fifth grade students. The date of Substantial Completion is August 28, 2014, but that is to be negotiated between the PUSD and Sinanian Develpoment through the Change Order process. I will let everyone know the status of those negotiations as they occur. Phase 2 is another $18 million dollar project that will begin in the next few years. That project will involve the renovation of the existing buildings.
