Partnership for Awareness Presents “Not In Our Town!”
Partnership for Awareness presents “Not In Our Town!” A panel discussion with Dr. Alex Cherniss – San Marino Superintendent of Schools, Mr. John Incontro – Chief of Police, Ms. Mary Johnson – Principal San Marino High School and Ms. Laura Ives – Intervention Counselor – San Marino High School on Wednesday, September 30 at San Marino High School’s Webb Theatre.
Illegal substance use and abuse, academic and social pressures, and mental health matters are REAL issues facing our students in San Marino. Our city and school leaders are here to help. This evening’s event will be an informative program where parents and educators can learn to identify the signs of at-risk behavior, understand how to elicit information and speak with adolescents on sensitive subjects, and become informed about the available resources — both people and programs — that can be leveraged. Key city leaders and educators are here to help raise healthy, conscientious, and successful San Marinians. It takes a village… starting with awareness!
Not In Our Town panel discussion will be held on Wednesday, September 30, 7:00 p.m. at San Marino High School’s Webb Theatre. Admission is free for supporters of PFA (Partnerships for Awareness). Otherewise, a $10 per person suggested donation.
