Polytechnic School: Sixth-Graders Explore Greek Art At The Getty

Recently, Poly sixth-graders, who have been studying Greek mythology in English class and Ancient Greece in history class, had an opportunity to see their studies come to life during a visit to the Getty Villa. In addition, Latin students have been learning about the design of Roman villas, and at the Getty, they were able to identify many of the rooms and elements of the gardens. The visit to the Getty Villa was also a wonderful introduction to Roman culture, which students will be learning about next semester.
