Polytechnic Sixth Grade Outreach Block Students Launches Food Drive Campaign

Polytechnic Sixth Grade Outreach block students recently launched a food drive campaign specifically to collect nut butter spreads of all sorts for the Friends in Deed food pantry. Students delivered the collection and stocked the shelves this past Wednesday during block.

To make donating into a fun, friendly competition, the sixth-graders created the “Peanut Better Campaign” and asked Middle School advisory groups to challenge each other to see who could collect the most ounces of peanut butter. More than 7,000 ounces were collected!
