South Pasadena High School Drama Department Presents “Witness for the Prosecution”

South Pasadena High School Drama Department is about to serve up Witness for the Prosecution, a six-course meal of a play that is a rich and savory grand buffet of vintage forties, English-style murder! It comes complete with basso-profundo defense barristers, disdainful prosecutors, acerbic judges, dizzy young secretaries, and a wide-eyed, decent, innocent young defendant – or so he seems. Only Agatha Christie could have conceived such a suspenseful thriller and then capped it with an uncanny triple flip ending. 17 students will be masterfully playing 16 roles as they navigate the twisty turns of this puzzlebox where the audience is intellectually challenged and must pay most serious attention!

Witness For the Prosecution runs two weekends: Friday, Dec. 4th & Saturday, Dec. 5th, 7:00 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 6th, 2:00 p.m. Friday and Saturday Dec. 11th & 12th at 7:00 p.m. The Little Theater, South Pasadena High School, 1401 Fremont Ave. South Pasadena. General Admission is $12. Tickets may be purchased at SPHS Main Office, SPHS student bank or online at sphsasb.org.
