St. Francis Welcomes Honorary Golden Knight Cheerleader & Team Captain

Last Thursday night St. Francis High School welcomed Delilah Ortiz along with her family to campus for the varsity football game to serve as a honorary cheerleader and football team captain for the evening. Delilah’s unconquerable spirit as a cancer survivor and beautiful smile made the evening extremely special for the cheerleaders, players, and fans in attendance. The St. Francis Community expresses its gratitude to Delilah, for sharing her joy. Delilah will remain in the thoughts and prayers of her Golden Knight family.

Delilah benefited from the Children’s Hospital Blood Bank throughout her battle with cancer so the St. Francis family is, once again, pleased to host the Children’s Hospital Blood Drive in her honor on Thursday, Dec. 4th, in the SFHS Gym from 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Please consider participating in this important cause.
