St. Monica Academy Took 2nd Place Cross Country Trophy at Bellarmine Cross Country Invitational

St. Monica Academy took 2nd Place among 26 schools in the JV Men’s race of the Bellarmine Cross Country Invitational on Sat. Sept. 27 in Griffith Park. The accomplishment was especially significant since SMA had the smallest team in that particular race, and thus every single one of its five runners was ‘scored,’ and all had to run extremely well to take home a trophy.

Big congratulations to the winning runners: Bailey Battles, Jacob Scott, Michael Grumbine, Jack Golbranson and Isaac Griffin.

For photos and a brief video clip from the awards ceremony, go to the Photos tab of the SMA website.
