St. Monica’s Winning Streak

The St. Monica Crusaders girls varsity basketball team finished its regular season with a decisive 52-19 win over the Le Lycee Lions in Los Angeles on Thursday, Feb. 12. This was their 16th victory of an impressive 16-game winning streak. The Crusaders went undefeated in league, with a record of 10-0. Their overall record was 17-2. Having clinched the title of International League Champions, they are now guaranteed a home playoff game. As they enter the post-season, Coach Colleen Smith and team leaders Molly Hagan, Therese Boles, and Elena Ford hope to continue the longest winning streak that any St. Monica sports team has ever had.
