No, this is not a poor job of counting, It is the order of the recent finishes in the CYO Finals. Out of seventy schools and over 2900 athletes, St. Rita School’s B Boys finished fifth and the B Girls were fourth. In the varsity divisions, St. Rita was first in girls and second in boys. The varsity girls gave St. Rita School, its 69th CYO Track Championship! It also marks their 28th straight year with at least one CYO Championship!

The Varsity Girls 4x 100 meter relay team of Beatriz Rivas, Collette Allen, Amber Allen and Hillary Howard are CYO Champs. Devon Nardoni is the individual champion in Javelin where along with Emerson Gohrick and Madeleine Biscaichipy, we went 1, 2, 3. Jenna Mijares is the 1600 meter champion and runner-up in the 800. She also anchored the third place 4×400 team that included Nicole Noriega, Emerson Gohrick and Devon Nardoni. The girls qualified all 3 contestants in each of the Field Events.
