St. Rita School’s Boys: Little League Champs

St. Rita School’s 10/11’s little league team from Sierra Madre were able to come behind for an exciting championship win against Santa Anita last night. The final score was 14-10 in an emotionally charged game between 2 strong teams. They won the banner after many years of not having a banner. St Rita boys on this team were CJ Rettig, Luca Farroni, Vincent Zuniga, Andrew Amerio, and Eric Zimmerman, and a new student next year Christian Locatelli.

Since their win, they have been going around town doing “Banner Sightings” with the different businesses and people in Sierra Madre.

The boys advance to the Sectional play next Saturday, July 14 at 4pm. The tournament will be held at Longden Field, hosted by Arcadia National.
