Temple City High School’s Department of Performing Arts Presents “42nd Street” A Musical

Temple City High School’s department of the performing arts presents its annual Broadway musical, a fun tap-dancing production of 42nd Street, fully staged at the historic San Gabriel Mission Playhouse, 320 S. Mission Drive in San Gabriel.

42nd STREET is a big, bold musical set in 1933, which celebrates the “stuff that dreams are made of” – being in a Broadway Show on 42nd Street in New York. Boy meets girl, girl tries to get into the show, the show’s leading lady becomes injured and the “newcomer” chorus girl must try to fill her shoes. With smash hits such as We’re in the Money, Dames, Lullaby of Broadway and the title song, 42nd Street, this light-hearted musical offers tap-dancing fun and entertainment for everyone in the family!

Performances for 42nd Street are Friday and Saturday March 13 & 14 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday March 15 at 2:00 p.m. at the San Gabriel Mission Playhouse.

Ticket prices are $20 and $18 for Reserved Seating and $15 for Unreserved Seating.

Tickets can be obtained online at www.templecityhigh.net or www.tcusd.net or in person at the TCHS Activities Office room 311 at TCHS. See the web site or call (626) 548-5160 for more information.
