Students enjoyed a special sneak peek of “The Show” at the lunchtime “Mini-Show” on February 18. In addition to hearing Linda “Peaches” Tavani of Peaches & Herb sing, students enjoyed fun competitions and give-aways. Junior Emma Hausler also sang for a chance to perform at “The Show.”

“The Show”, at Maranatha High School on March 15, will be an exciting evening of taste and talent featuring a food tasting from 5:00-7:00 p.m. by Patina Group Restaurants: Kendall’s Brasserie, Nick and Stef’s Steakhouse, and Patina. From 7:00-9:00 p.m. guests are invited to enjoy “The Show” at the Ambassador Auditorium – a variety of performances by artists including Grammy-nominated Linda Tavani of “Peaches and Herb” and the iconic Pat Boone. A number of other amusing artists will delight guests including the Kamikazi Fireflies, an amazing juggling duo who have appeared on “The Tonight Show” and hold three Guinness World Records, as well as the phenomenal dance group MUV made up of the top dancers in Los Angeles from television’s “America’s Best Dance Crew”, “America’s Got Talent”, and the movie “Step Up Revolution”. The Colburn School of Music, featuring a talented string quartet, will also perform, as will the gifted Karen Heimbuch with a dramatic Scripture presentation. This is an event for the entire family and the organizers know everyone will enjoy this relaxed and entertaining evening!

All proceeds from “The Show” will go to Maranatha’s Professional Development Fund. Underwriting opportunities are still available.
