Two Blair Sixth Graders Honored for their Essays

Congratulations to Grace Nakane for her first place state-level Americanism essay. Grace was honored by the California/Hawaii Elks on Friday at their 101st annual convention. Grace received a $250 reward. Congratulations to Abigail Griffith for her third place state-level Americanism essays. Abby received $100.

A special trip to Disneyland with their mothers and teacher, Miss McLaughlin topped off a great day of celebration! The girls’ essays were selected out of almost one thousand essays.
