Walden Parent Education Speaker Series: Children & Anxiety Helping Kids with Anxious Moments



Symptoms of anxiety aren’t always apparent, especially in children. When unaddressed, anxiety can interfere with a child’s thinking, concentration, and overall academic functioning.

Walden School Parent Education Series Presents Children & Anxiety: Helping Kids with Anxious Moments workshop on Thursday, March 6, 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. In this workshop, featured speaker, Dr. Jenny Yip will discuss the challenges a child with anxiety commonly faces. She will highlight ways to recognize signs of anxiety, and provide useful tools for managing such anxious moments effectively.

The workshop is a free event open to Walden parents and all interested members of the community.

Dr. Jenny Yip is a board certified cognitive and behavioral psychologist who is nationally recognized for her expertise in anxiety and obsessive compulsive disorders.
