Waverly School’s Seventh Graders’ Introduction to Future Cities



Spanish teacher Miguel introduced the 7th graders to Future Cities, which is a national engineering competition. Future Cities will be offered as a middle school after-school class this coming fall. Last week, students attempted to build structures out of paper and tape. The materials had a cost and the students’ goal was to consider the cost of the structure they built to support the weight of books.
