Weizmann Day School Middle School Tzedakah Fair

As part of their semester-end Jewish Studies final, each Weizmann Day School middle school students chose and researched a Jewish organization that they felt would be worthy of receiving tzedakah collected at school.  After making presentations to their teachers and classmates, the students held a Tzedakah Fair for the younger students. Grades 2-5 visited the fair, rotating stations every three minutes, and listened to the presentations.  They were then given play money to use as a way of voting for the organizations they felt were most deserving of future tzedakah donations.
