Whole Foods Markets Teams Up with the Pasadena Educational Foundation to Support Grants for Pasadena Unified Teachers

Whole Foods Markets in Pasadena will donate 5% of sales on Thursday, March 13 to the Pasadena Educational Foundation (PEF) to support grants to Pasadena Unified School District (PUSD) teachers.

PEF Teacher Grants help PUSD teachers bring creativity, innovation, and inspiration into their classrooms by providing the funds needed to purchase materials and resources that help teachers continue to accomplish their vital work. Grants are provided directly to the teachers and support a diverse group of projects throughout the public schools of Altadena, Pasadena, and Sierra Madre.

As part of Whole Foods Market’s Community Giving Day, both locations in Pasadena will have specials throughout the stores including hot pizzas, gelatos, coffee and pastries with specials in the Lounge at the Arroyo store. Kids are invited to participate in a fun scavenger hunt at each store to gather an assortment of delicious items while learning about healthy eating.
