A 10-year-old boy was struck by a car and injured as he crossed a street Monday night in Pasadena.
The collision happened at 7:24 p.m. on Sierra Bonita Avenue at E. Colorado Boulevard.
According to Pasadena Police Lieutenant Tim Bundy, a 35-year-old man was driving a vehicle northbound on Sierra Bonita Avenue when he struck the boy, who was crossing the street westbound.
The boy was taken to a local hospital with head injuries. His condition is not known.
The driver of the stayed at the scene. It is not known if he was cited.
The cause of the collision is also not known.
The accident is still under investigation.
