Four people were injured, two critically, in a crash on state Route 110 in South Pasadena after a sedan collided with another vehicle and went over an embankment, striking a tree, authorities said Monday.
The crash was reported at 10:06 p.m. Sunday by an area resident who said he heard a collision that caused a sedan to hit a tree, according to the California Highway Patrol.
All victims had to be cut free from the car by Pasadena and South Pasadena firefighters and were transported to Huntington Memorial Hospital, according to RMG News.
A SigAlert was issued at 10:28 p.m. shutting down all northbound lanes, diverting traffic off at Fair Oaks Avenue.
The lanes were reopened at 12:31 a.m.
