Four robbers armed with handguns held up a Pasadena gas station on Saturday night, police said.
The heist took place just after 10 p.m. at a gas station in the 400 block of North Altadena Drive, according to Pasadena police Lt. Anthony Burgess.
Officers responded to a silent alarm activation and learned the businesses had just been robbed by four men, he said.
They brandished handguns as they demanded money from the cash register, ultimately fleeing with about $500, the lieutenant said. No injuries were reported.
Police described the robbers as four Black men in their 20s, all wearing masks. Three of them were between 5 feet 7inches and 5 feet 9 inches tall, while the fourth was described as heavyset and wearing a black hooded sweatshirt.
The robbers left the area in a black vehicle, Burgess added.
The investigation continued Sunday, including checks of area surveillance cameras for clues, he said.
