A pretrial hearing is set for Sadarius Lawson, 27, of Los Angeles, who is charged with the fatal stabbing of a homeless man in Pasadena. The hearing will take place on Tuesday, Feb 6, at 8:30 a.m. at the Pasadena Courthouse, Dept. F, located at 300 E. Walnut St.
Lawson is accused of the murder of Alex Dominguez, a 43-year-old homeless man. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Lawson was detained a short distance from the crime scene within minutes of the original call.
He was subsequently booked on a charge of murder, with bail set at $2 million, according to Pasadena Police Department Lt. Keith Gomez.
