Pasadena’s CityTalk webinars and Issue Forums will move to Wednesday evenings beginning in September following the City Council’s decision to shift its regular meetings from Mondays to Tuesdays on a trial basis.

The September CityTalk will feature Rose Bowl Operating Company CEO Jens Weiden for an online discussion on Wednesday, Sept. 2, at 7 p.m.

The announcement did not specify the particular challenges Weiden will address during the webinar or provide additional details about the Rose Bowl’s long-term strategic plans.

The Sept. 2 program will be held online and begins at 7 p.m.

Weiden is expected to discuss long-term strategic planning for the Rose Bowl as well as immediate challenges facing the historic stadium.

The scheduling change follows the City Council’s recent decision to move regular council meetings from Monday evenings to Tuesday evenings beginning in September.

CityTalk webinars and Issue Forums, which had been held on Tuesday evenings, will consequently move to Wednesdays to avoid conflicting with the new council schedule.

Organizers said the September discussion will provide an in-depth look at planning for the future of one of Pasadena’s most recognizable institutions.
