AbilityFirst has opened registration for its 2025 Stroll & Roll event, set for Nov. 8, Saturday, at Santa Anita Park.
The annual fundraiser draws nearly 1,000 participants and supports programs for children and adults with disabilities.
Comerica Bank returns as presenting sponsor for the 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. event.
Individual registration costs $35. Participants who complete the walk receive a commemorative medal. Children 5 and under attend free.
Teams from corporations and community groups are encouraged to register.
“Every year, Stroll & Roll reminds us of what’s possible when our community comes together with purpose,” said Dr. Sergio Rizzo-Fontanesi, AbilityFirst’s CEO and president.
He said support ensures people with disabilities have resources to reach their potential.
The event features complimentary coffee and light breakfast. Live entertainment and interactive exhibits are planned. Local food trucks will sell meals and beverages.
A beer garden will serve guests 21 and older.
Proceeds benefit multiple AbilityFirst programs. These include after-school enrichment, recreational activities and employment services. The College to Career program and Camp Paivika also receive funding.
Adult Day and Community Integration programs round out the beneficiaries.
Santa Anita Park’s Paddock Gardens Gate 8 hosts the event at 285 W. Huntington Drive in Arcadia. Parking opens at 9 a.m. The opening ceremony begins at 10 a.m.
Registration is available at strollandroll.org.
