AC/DC Powers Up the Rose Bowl Stadium With Tour Stop, Tickets on Sale Friday

The iconic rock band AC/DC will perform at the Rose Bowl Stadium on April 18, 2025, as part of their 2025 POWER UP North American Tour. The concert marks the band’s return to U.S. stages for the first time in nine years, with tickets going on sale December 6 at 12 p.m. local time.

The legendary GRAMMY Award-winning Rock and Roll Hall of Fame-inducted band will perform in 12 other stadiums coast-to-coast during their spring 2025 tour.

The tour will kick off on April 10 at Minneapolis’ US Bank Stadium and conclude May 28 at Cleveland’s Huntington Bank Stadium.

AC/DC—featuring Angus Young on lead guitar, vocalist Brian Johnson, rhythm guitarist Stevie Young, drummer Matt Laug, and bass player Chris Chaney—recently completed a European leg of the POWER UP Tour in 2024, packing the biggest stadiums on the continent.

The tour shares its name with their 2020 album “POWER UP,” which achieved #1 status in 21 countries and marked their third #1 debut on the Billboard 200. The album earned GRAMMY® Award nominations for “Best Rock Album,” “Best Rock Performance,” and “Best Music Video” for “Shot In The Dark,” while being recognized among Rolling Stone’s “Top 50 Albums of 2020” and Consequence of Sound’s “Top 50 Albums of 2020.”

Since their first show on December 31, 1973, at Chequers Nightclub in Sydney, Australia, AC/DC has become one of the most influential rock bands in history, with over 200 million albums sold worldwide. Their LP Back In Black stands as the “bestselling album by any band ever” and the “third bestselling album by any artist” with global sales of 50 million and counting.

The band, inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2003, continues selling out stadiums on multiple continents, selling millions of albums annually and generating streams in the billions.
