Ameron Announces New Chief of Water Transmission Group

Ameron International Corporation, manufacturer of products and materials for the chemical, industrial, energy, transportation and infrastructure markets, appointed Richard I. Mueller as the group president of the Water Transmission Group on Jan. 19. Mueller joined the organization in 2002 and prior to the appointment was senior vice president of Engineering and Technical Services.

“Richard Mueller has demonstrated an extensive knowledge of water pipe systems technology and has utilized a creative approach to problem solving. I am confident that Richard will provide strong leadership and will be a catalyst for the growth of Ameron’s Water Transmission Group,” said James S. Marlen, Ameron’s chairman and chief executive officer.
