Armed Robbery Spree Hits Pasadena 7-Eleven, Police Seek Additional Victims

A 7-Eleven store in Pasadena was among five locations hit during a one-day armed robbery spree last Friday, prompting authorities to seek additional victims of the group responsible for the crimes.

The Pasadena robbery occurred at 4:43 a.m. in the 200 block of Rosemead Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

The same group allegedly committed similar armed robberies at 7-Eleven stores in Los Angeles and Baldwin Park during a crime spree that lasted from 1 a.m. to 11 p.m.

“In each incident, the group would arrive in a stolen blue Hyundai Sonata where one individual would remain on the lookout and the others would enter the store to commit the armed robbery,” police said. “They utilized a blue steel handgun with an extended magazine.”

Authorities arrested three suspects following a police pursuit that began in Alhambra around 9:50 p.m. Friday after an attempted robbery.

The pursuit continued through downtown Los Angeles, where the Los Angeles Police Department took over.

The driver and two others were taken into custody, but one suspect fled on foot and remains at large.

Police identified one suspect as 21-year-old Jacuri Tobias, while the other two are juveniles aged 15 and 17.

Besides the Pasadena location, robberies occurred at:

1200 block of West Washington Boulevard at 2:45 a.m.
1500 block of Glendale Boulevard at 3:05 a.m.
12900 block of Bess Avenue in Baldwin Park at 5:09 a.m.
3500 block of West Temple Street at 8:46 p.m.
