ArtCenter College of Design welcomed two new trustees at its recent fall meeting. Nike digital product design leader Dantley Davis and Penske operations and finance executive Paul Rainey bring exceptional expertise, a passion for what ArtCenter stands for and a unique world view to guide the College’s future. They began their role on the Board as of October 27, 2023.

“As the Board continues to focus on developing new revenue models to mitigate the burden of tuition dependency on students, I couldn’t be more pleased with the addition of Paul and Dantley to our Board of Trustees,” said Karen Hofmann, president and CEO of ArtCenter College of Design. “Our ultimate goal is to create greater access and affordability for a diverse student population of lifelong learners.”

“I’m incredibly happy to have both Dantley and Paul join our board — each lending deep knowledge and expertise from their respective fields and backgrounds,” said Michael M. Warsaw, ArtCenter Board chairman. “They bring a passion and unique point of view that will undoubtedly make an immediate impact on our board and ultimately the institution — helping our students thrive and create positive change in the world.”

“Dantley and Paul are ideal new Board members,” said fellow trustee and ArtCenter alumnus Kevin Bethune who nominated the pair to serve as trustees. “Together they bring several decades of valuable industry insights and expertise to fuel the College’s growth, relevance and overall success. I look forward to working with them to make a positive impact on ArtCenter’s future.”
