Police officers arrested a 19-year-old Pasadena man minutes after he allegedly broke into the snack bar of the Villa-Parke Community Center at about 11:20 p.m. Wednesday.
Two other suspects are being sought for the incident.
Pasadena Police Lt. John Luna said officers were patrolling the Villa Parke area at 363 East Villa Street when they observed three men breaking into the snack bar building.
When officers attempted to contact the suspects, they fled on foot, Luna said. Officers Locklin and Lujan stopped the person matching the description of the one of the suspects on Los Robles north of Villa. Officer Locklin interviewed the suspect at the scene, who confessed to burglarizing the snack bar.
The man, identified as Luis Zepeda, 19, a Pasadena resident, also confessed to vandalizing his neighbors car before they went on to Villa-Parke.
Zepeda is being held for robbery and is being questioned about the two other suspects who were not immediately apprehended. There were no immediate descriptions of the other men.
