A brief police pursuit unfolded in the early hours of Saturday morning, Nov. 2 when officers attempted to stop a vehicle suspected of being involved in a felony, according to Pasadena Police Lieutenant Andrea Perez.
Perez reported that at approximately 12:38 a.m. on November 2, officers observed a vehicle matching the description of a wanted felony vehicle near the 210 Freeway and Fair Oaks Avenue.
The vehicle, described as a green Honda CRV, was traveling in an evasive manner and appeared to be operated by a possibly impaired driver.
When officers attempted to initiate a traffic stop, the vehicle failed to yield, leading to a pursuit, Perez said.
The chase lasted less than two minutes before it was called off due to safety concerns.
According to Perez, the suspect vehicle was last seen heading eastbound on the 210 Freeway at Lake Avenue. The pursuit began in the area of the westbound 210 Freeway at Mountain Street.
