Update: Access to the 110 Freeway on Arroyo Parkway Still Undergoing Repairs

Published on Tuesday, June 3, 2014 | 12:40 am

Caltrans crews started servicing the four way signal intersection at Arroyo Parkway and Glenarm St., in Pasadena beginning at 7:00 a.m. this morning, impairing access to the 110 Freeway.

Update:

As of 1:00 p.m. June 3, traffic signals are still not operational at the Arroyo Parkway and Glenarm St. intersection in Pasadena.  Caltrans’ crews are on site and working to repair the issue, however, for the six lanes of traffic, the intersection is currently being controlled only by stop signs.

Traffic is still slow and has some back ups.  At this point it is still advised to avoid the Arroyo Parkway and Glenarm St. intersection.

The Pasadena Police Department is urging morning commuters to avoid this stretch of roadway and use alternate routes to the 110 Freeway for your morning commute.

Alternatives suggested are the Fair Oaks Ave. access in South Pasadena and the South Orange Grove Avenue access, also in South Pasadena.

There is no estimate as to when the work will be completed.
