A vacant commercial building caught fire in Pasadena on Thursday evening, at 1336 E. Colorado Boulevard, where firefighters found a small, boarded-up former car dealership with flames visible from the front door.
Firefighters quickly extinguished the blaze, confining it to the area of origin and declaring knockdown at 8:08 p.m.
San Marino Fire Department also provided support.
The Pasadena Police Department assisted with traffic control.
The incident involved the commitment of four engines, two trucks, one rescue ambulance, and two battalion chiefs from the Pasadena Fire Department.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation. Authorities estimate the property damage at $5,000,
No injuries were reported.
