Chabad of Pasadena will partner with Renewal.org this Sunday, Jan. 11, to host a kidney donation swab drive in support of two local community members who urgently need kidney donors.
The event, set for 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at Chabad of Pasadena, 1090 E Walnut St., will offer a quick and simple cheek swab to see if attendees may be an eligible match.
The drive is being held on behalf of two local community members in need, identified as Lisa and Neil, who both urgently need kidney donors.
Renewal.org is a non-profit organization dedicated to saving lives by helping kidney donors and recipients navigate all aspects of the transplant process.
The group highlights past kidney donor stories through @renewalnews.
