The concerts are scheduled for Friday, Oct. 10, and Saturday, Oct. 11. They are part of Roan’s “Visions of Damsels & Other Dangerous Things” pop-up tour.
The shows mark Roan’s first major U.S. headlining dates since her record-breaking 2024 festival season. She drew some of the largest crowds at festivals including Lollapalooza and Austin Ball.
Brookside Park offers various seating configurations including general admission grass areas and VIP sections. It also features elevated viewing platforms for concertgoers.
Roan announced the tour on July 24 through social media and press releases. The tour also includes shows in New York City and Kansas City, Missouri.
“I am sooo excited to bring Visions of Damsels & Other Dangerous Things to New York, Kansas City, and Los Angeles,” Roan said in the announcement. “I love these three cities so much and wanted the chance to do something special for them this year.”
The 27-year-old artist, who was born Kayleigh Rose Amstutz in Willard, Missouri, won the Grammy Award for Best New Artist in February 2025.
Each ticket sale includes a $1 donation to organizations supporting transgender youth. This reflects Roan’s ongoing commitment to LGBTQ+ advocacy.
The pop-up shows will feature Roan’s drag-inspired visual presentations and theatrical elements. Her performances are known for elaborate costumes and camp aesthetics.
Roan consistently features local drag performers as opening acts for her concerts. This provides platform and visibility for LGBTQ+ artists in each tour market.
The Rose Bowl complex offers comprehensive accessibility features and complies with Americans with Disabilities Act requirements. Transportation options include various bus and rail connections.
Following these performances, Roan plans to retreat to write her highly anticipated sophomore album. The shows represent a strategic approach before focusing on new material.
Roan’s stage name honors her late grandfather Dennis K. Chappell and references his favorite song “The Strawberry Roan.”
The pop-up tour format represents a departure from traditional extensive touring models. It allows artists to maintain exclusivity while reducing touring demands.
