A 10-year-old boy fell out of a moving bus in Pasadena on Tuesday afternoon.
The incident happened at around 3:15 p.m. near the intersection of Garfield Avenue and Orange Grove Boulevard, according to Pasadena police Lt. Chris Sharma.
Two juveniles riding inside the bus were playing with a handle on the bus when a door opened up and one of them fell out. The bus was moving at about 15 miles per hour at the time of the fall, Sharma said.
The driver of the bus pulled over and called 911. The boy was transported by Pasadena Fire Dept. paramedics to a local hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening. The other juvenile was not injured.
The California Highway Patrol is investigating the incident, Sharma said.
